Life Energy Art is the creation of John Diamond, M.D., one of the world's leaders in the field of the Arts and Healing, and includes paintings, photographs, and clay sculptures. Life Energy is our vital force within also known as chi or prana and is what causes us to grow and enables us to heal.

These works of art represent a new philosophy in the Arts—works of art that are done with the intention of being therapeutic for those viewing them. Strong, graceful and free-flowing, they are done as an Action Meditation—involving the outward action while keeping the stillness within.

The inspirations behind Dr. Diamond’s paintings are many, and reflect the breadth of his vision—traditional Japanese and Chinese literati painters, Daoist and Zen philosophers, the abstract expressionism of Jackson Pollock and, most of all, the Paleolithic paintings of the Lascaux caves, paintings created by shamans for the same explicit therapeutic purpose as these.
